Surf levels

At Baleal Surf Camp, we believe that understanding your surf level is the first real step toward real progression. Not labels. Not ego. Just clarity.

Every surfer has a starting point. Some arrive with sandy enthusiasm and zero experience. Others already glide across green waves, hungry for sharper turns and longer rides. This page will help you identify where you are right now in your surf journey, whether you are a complete beginner meeting the ocean for the first time or an intermediate surfer working on technique and confidence. By knowing your level, we can place you in the right group, choose the right conditions, and design sessions that truly move you forward. Surfing is not a straight line. It is more like a tide. Sometimes fast, sometimes patient, always evolving. Here you will find clear descriptions of each level so you can book your surf experience with confidence and start your next chapter in the water the right way.
