The closest airport to Peniche is in Lisbon, about 100Km from our location. From Lisbon you can catch a bus, it takes about 1h30m and stops in Peniche. From the bus station in Peniche to Baleal we offer the transfer so just let us know about your arrival time and we’ll be there to pick you up.
Another airport is in Porto, this is 280Km from Peniche and there are buses. Faro is the airport furthest away, around 400Km from Peniche. You can take a fast train from Faro to Lisbon and then a bus or bus to Lisbon and then another bus to Peniche.

Lisbon to Peniche
Driving – Take the A8 Highway and drive North direction Leiria/Porto. Stop at the tool to colect a ticket and pay on the next tool. Drive towards Peniche exiting via the IP6 off-ramp. At the last roundabout (Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem roundabout) and before you enter Peniche turn right in the direction of Baleal.

By Bus – There are at least two different Bus companies coming directly from Lisbon to Peniche (and the other way around):
Private Shuttle: Baleal Surf Camp can provide a transfer service from and/or back to Lisbon airport or somewhere in town. The driver will pick you up at the airport and bring you directly to our surf Camp.

Porto to Peniche
Driving – Take the A1 highway travelling south towards Lisbon. On the A1, exit via the 6A off-ramp and take the A15 Highway travelling towards Caldas Rainha / Rio Maior / Óbidos. The A15 connects to the A8 Highway. On the A8, exit via the IP6 off-ramp and travel towards Peniche. At the last roundabout (Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem roundabout) and before you enter Peniche turn right in the direction of Baleal.
