Eco Room - Enviromental Awareness

Baleal Surf Camp tries to make a contribution to this important cause by promoting beach clean-up activities, involving our staff, students and campers in the cleaning work, mainly whenever we take our weekly surfing trips to deserted beaches. See the video below with an example from October 2009.

Using a solution based argument of viable and sustainable alternatives, SAS highlight the inherent flaws in current practices, attitudes and legislation, challenging industry, legislators and politicians to end their 'pump and dump' policies.

CARBON OFFSETTING
We know that every time we fly, we are creating more Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and contributing to global warming. We realise that as a travel business, we cannot cancel out traveling, so in addition to our other measures, we offset 110% of the carbon emissions of our staff flights. We encourage our clients to do the same. It is affordable and easy to do!
